Experience
Dan joined Franklin & Prokopik’s Baltimore office as Counsel in December 2024. His practice is focused on workers’ compensation defense, representing employers and insurers before the Workers’ Compensation Commission and Maryland Circuit Courts.
Dan is a seasoned litigator with over 30 years of trial experience. He has given numerous presentations and seminars throughout the state regarding workers’ comp claims and procedures. Dan has additionally testified before both the Maryland House of Delegates and Maryland Senate in reference to proposed workers’ compensation legislation.
Prior to joining F&P, Dan managed the workers’ comp departments for several plaintiff-oriented firms. He has extensive experience with a wide array of injury and occupational disease claims, ranging from minor to catastrophic. Dan’s comprehensive background in claimant representation is instrumental in his defense of employer/insurer liability.
Activities
Dan’s favorite hobbies include billiards, word games, and martial arts. He holds a black belt in Kenpo Karate and is a former instructor. Otherwise, Dan is most likely to be frequenting local restaurants, obsessing over Baltimore sports teams, or watching movies with his wife and two sons.
